Job Description:
Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Tech Pack Designer to join their team in NYC! Responsibilities Develop detailed, production-ready tech packs including specs, construction details, materials, and BOMs to support accurate sampling and bulk production Prepare and manage costing sheets, ensuring alignment with target margins and pricing strategies Partner closely with design, production, and sourcing teams to translate concepts into executable product Issue, track, and update tech packs and costing packages to vendors, ensuring clarity and timeliness Review samples and provide clear feedback to maintain consistency with design intent and quality standards Monitor development timelines and maintain organized documentation within PLM systems Ensure all products meet brand requirements for quality, fit, and compliance Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve development or production issues Qualifications Prior experience working within a fashion company required Strong proficiency in creating comprehensive tech packs for apparel or accessories Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems Understanding of garment construction, materials, and costing processes Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Product Development, or a related field preferred Technical design experience is a plus
