Located in the heart of Montclair, New Jersey, we specialize in exceptional fur craftsmanship, luxury outerwear, and curated collections of mid- to high-end apparel and accessories. As we continue to expand our fashion offerings, we are seeking a talented and entrepreneurial Fashion Designer who is interested not only in designing but also in building and growing their own brand within an established luxury retail environment. The Opportunity This is not a traditional designer position. We are looking for a creative individual who has an existing collection—or is actively developing one—and wants the opportunity to showcase and sell their designs through our boutique while collaborating on future collections. This role is ideal for a designer who wants access to an established luxury customer base, professional retail space, and the support of an experienced fashion business. Responsibilities Design and develop original apparel and/or accessory collections. Present seasonal collections that align with a luxury aesthetic. Collaborate with ownership on merchandising and product placement. Work closely with our sales team to educate them on the collection. Participate in special events, trunk shows, and fashion presentations. Assist in identifying market trends and customer preferences. Explore opportunities for custom and bespoke client work. Collaborate on exclusive capsule collections and limited-edition pieces. Qualifications Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent professional experience. Portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and originality. Experience developing and producing a fashion collection preferred. Strong understanding of luxury fabrics, construction, and finishing. Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing a personal brand. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
