70-80K Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Designer to support the design and development of outerwear and apparel across global brands. This role will assist in executing seasonal collections from concept through production, working closely with senior design leadership, product development, and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Support design team in developing seasonal concepts, color stories, and product assortments Create and update CAD sketches, colorways, and technical flats in Adobe Illustrator Assist in building presentation boards and buyer-ready decks (Costco, Walmart, etc.) Research market trends, fabrics, trims, and competitor products Help maintain line plans, style tracking, and seasonal organization Collaborate with technical design and development teams to ensure design feasibility Review samples and provide feedback to align with design intent Communicate with vendors to support design execution and revisions Organize and maintain design files, swatches, and sample libraries Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field 2-5 years of experience in apparel design (outdoor apparel preferred) Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (CAD sketching is a must) Good understanding of garment construction and materials Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Key Skills Strong eye for design, color, and proportion Ability to translate ideas into clear, production-ready CADs Organized and detail-driven Proactive and eager to learn Strong sense of trend and commercial product awareness Preferred Experience Experience in outerwear or performance apparel Familiarity with major retail channels (Costco, Walmart, off-price) Exposure to PLM systems Experience supporting multiple brands or private label programs
