About Us Reflex Performance Resources Inc. is a global sourcing company specializing in activewear, athleisure, and sportswear. We are looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Kids Designer to join our New York City design team. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting the development of girls activewear collections across multiple brands and retailers. Position Overview The Junior Kids Designer will support the Design team in creating trend-forward activewear collections for toddler, little girls, and big girls categories. This role is ideal for a highly organized designer with strong Illustrator skills who is passionate about kids fashion, color, and print development, and eager to grow within a fast-paced fashion environment. Key Responsibilities Create and update line sheets, CADs, and presentation boards. Develop technical flat sketches in Adobe Illustrator. Assist with print, graphic, and color development for girls activewear collections. Support seasonal trend research and competitive market analysis. Help prepare tech pack artwork and factory-ready presentation materials. Organize seasonal samples, fabric headers, trims, and color cards. Assist with Pantone chip selection and color library maintenance. Prepare presentation boards for buyers and internal meetings. Support designers with daily administrative and organizational tasks. Ensure calendars and deadlines are consistently met. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred. 1-2 years experience or internships in apparel/fashion design preferred. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator required; Photoshop a plus. Ability to create technical flats and clean CAD artwork. Strong understanding of color, print, and trend direction for kids apparel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of apparel production and manufacturing processes is a plus. Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Preferred Experience Girls activewear, athleisure, or sportswear experience. Understanding of trims, embellishments, and garment construction. Experience working with retailers such as TJ Maxx, Ross, Burlington, Nordstrom Rack, or department stores is a plus.
