Job Description

Overview Join our innovative team as a CAD Designer specializing in Metal Fabrication, where your creativity and technical expertise will bring complex metal structures and components to life. In this dynamic role, you will utilize advanced CAD software to develop detailed designs, collaborate with engineers and fabricators, and ensure precision in every project. Your work will directly contribute to the creation of high-quality metal products, supporting electrical, industrial, and automotive projects with efficiency and excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, design-driven environment dedicated to craftsmanship and innovation. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models of metal fabrication components using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion360. Create comprehensive schematics and system designs that meet project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to refine designs for manufacturability and structural integrity. Prepare precise fabrication drawings and assembly instructions for manufacturing teams. Assist in the visualization of projects through 3D modeling and 2D animation techniques to facilitate client presentations and internal reviews. Qualifications Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion360 Strong understanding of schematics, system design principles, and drafting standards within the metal fabrication industry. Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with 2D animation or visualization tools is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Effective communication skills for collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. A background in mechanical design or system design is advantageous; relevant certifications are a plus.
