Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills within a fast-paced retail environment, supporting store management in achieving business objectives and maintaining high standards of operational excellence. Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales activities Support employee orientation, training, and development to foster a motivated and skilled team Participate in interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a strong workforce Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures accurately Oversee inventory control, purchasing, and pricing strategies to optimize stock levels and sales performance Ensure excellent customer service through effective communication skills and phone etiquette Supervise shift management, cashiering, and POS transactions to maintain operational efficiency Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales Maintain organizational standards related to store appearance, stocking, merchandising, and safety protocols Assist in budgeting, sales management, and retail math analysis to meet financial goals Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities such as teamwork, problem-solving, and effective communication Requirements Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of inventory management, POS systems, purchasing, and cash handling procedures Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Effective leadership qualities with experience in team management and training & development Proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, and budgeting processes Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Exceptional communication skills including phone etiquette and customer service excellence Experience with merchandising, stock management, marketing initiatives, and wireless sales is desirable Demonstrated ability to handle administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and payroll processing accurately Strong time management skills with the capacity to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Previous assistant manager experience preferred; however, candidates with relevant supervisory experience are encouraged to apply •Must have a reliable vehicle , be presentable and WANT to work. Fridays and Saturday s are Mandatory.
