ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a detail-oriented, personable, and proactive Showroom Assistant— someone who finds the intersection of design, home, and craft genuinely interesting, and who wants to build real skills and grow with a team that will invest in them. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Interaction & Product Knowledge:
Greet clients, solicit and understand their needs and wants, and guide them to appropriate selections Build and maintain knowledge of our products and how we apply them
Appointments & Requests Management:
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar to keep the team running efficiently Receive service and repair work, communicating clearly about services we do and do not offer
Mail & Deliveries:
Receive and verify incoming freight and product orders Move product to storage; must be able to lift 20 lbs
Showroom Maintenance:
Keep the showroom clean, organized, and presentation-ready (vacuuming, dusting, displays) Project Coordination Keep our CRM and project board updated with accurate notes on clients and jobs Communicate with our designer, installer, and repairman to keep projects moving Product Status & Payments Check and relay order status to clients and the team Process payments at point of sale (cash, check, card)
Qualifications:
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to juggle a variety of tasks without dropping the details Comfortable with basic office tools (email, CRM) and motivated to learn new software Proactive, dependable, and punctual — someone who takes ownership without being asked An eye for design, interiors, or home aesthetics is a genuine plus Experience in retail, showroom, interior design, or a related field is helpful but not required How to
