In this vibrant role, you will craft stunning floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, from weddings and events to everyday celebrations. Your keen eye for design, horticultural knowledge, and customer service skills will help create memorable experiences for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your floral design talents while working in a dynamic retail environment that values innovation and teamwork. Responsibilities Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements tailored to customer specifications and seasonal themes Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related accessories, providing expert advice on floral care and arrangement options Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers through proper handling, watering, and storage techniques Manage inventory levels by stocking flowers, plants, floral supplies, and merchandising displays efficiently Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and customer payments Support the overall presentation of the floral department by organizing displays and ensuring cleanliness and organization Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Experience Previous experience in floral design or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of gardening, landscape maintenance, lawn care, or floral design techniques is a plus Familiarity with retail sales processes including cashiering, merchandising, stock management, and retail math Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customers Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cashiering duties confidently Organizational skills to manage inventory, stock displays, and maintain a tidy workspace Passion for gardening, floristry, or horticulture with a desire to learn and grow within the floral industry
