Job Description

Studio Assistant — Part-Time Mod Cabinetry | Berkeley, CA Mod Cabinetry is looking for an upbeat, personable, flexible, cheerful, and detail-oriented Studio Assistant to support our Berkeley kitchen showroom. This is an entry-level, part-time role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is interested in learning about kitchen design. No design experience is required.
Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
Typical Hours:
Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 11:30 AM-5:30 PM Weekday and weekend availability required

Berkeley, CA Compensation:
Hourly Responsibilities Greet walk-in clients and create a welcoming showroom experience. Complete client intake forms, upload drawings, document meeting notes, and share information with the design team. Keep the showroom clean, organized, and client-ready. Prepare coffee, tea, water, and samples for client meetings. Confirm next-day appointments. Pull samples in preparation for meetings and return samples to the library afterward. Maintain the sample library and showroom displays. Review client email communication and help follow up on the lead pipeline. Ideal Fit The right person for this role is upbeat, energetic, personable, and reliable. They are detail-oriented, have strong follow-through, and enjoy creating a warm and professional experience for clients. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning about interior design, kitchen design, cabinetry, or showroom operations. Requirements Strong communication and customer service skills. Organized, dependable, and able to follow through on tasks. Comfortable interacting with clients in person, by phone, and by email. Able to work weekdays and weekends. Interest in design is a plus, but no prior experience is required.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
