Responsibilities Design and assemble a wide variety of floral arrangements, ensuring they meet customer specifications and aesthetic standards Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral choices and care instructions Maintain the freshness and appearance of flowers through proper handling, storage, and rotation practices Manage inventory levels by stocking flowers, floral supplies, and merchandising displays effectively Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and processing payments Support store merchandising efforts by creating attractive displays that highlight seasonal themes and promotions Collaborate with team members to ensure the floral department remains organized, clean, and fully stocked at all times Qualifications Proven experience in floral design or horticulture, with a strong portfolio of previous work preferred Knowledge of gardening, landscape maintenance, and lawn care is a plus for creating complementary displays or outdoor arrangements Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customers Familiarity with retail sales processes including cashiering, POS systems, retail math, and stock management Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and provide exceptional customer service Basic understanding of floral merchandising techniques and floral care best practices Join us as a Florist Designer and turn your creative passion into inspiring floral experiences!
