Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and passionate Designer to join our team. As a Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating stunning floral arrangements that exceed our customers' expectations. Your artistic vision and attention to detail will contribute to the unique charm and elegance of our flower shop.

Responsibilities:

Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, funerals, and everyday occasions. Collaborate with customers to understand their preferences, themes, and budget requirements. Source and select high-quality flowers, foliage, and accessories from our suppliers/vendors. Maintain inventory of floral supplies and ensure freshness of all floral products. Provide exceptional customer service by offering personalized recommendations and guidance on floral selections. Assist with general shop duties including cleaning, organizing, and customer inquiries.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a floral designer or similar role in a floral shop, event planning company, or related field. Proficiency in floral design techniques, including knowledge of color schemes, balance, and composition. Creative flair and ability to conceptualize unique floral designs tailored to individual preferences and occasions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons. Physical stamina to lift and move heavy floral arrangements and supplies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Formal training or certification in floral design or a related field is a plus. Knowledge of flower care and handling techniques to ensure longevity of arrangements. Familiarity with floral industry trends, seasonal flowers, and popular design styles. Experience with floral arrangement software or design tools is advantageous.
