Position Summary The Floral Associate III plays an important role in supporting advanced floral production and flower-growing operations at the 4Roots Farm Campus. This position works closely with the Floral Manager to assist with flower cultivation, harvesting, floral preparation, event support, and studio organization while helping maintain high standards for quality, presentation, and operational efficiency. This advanced-level position works independently on daily tasks, supports floral installations and event preparation, and assists in guiding junior associates on proper floral handling, sanitation, and studio procedures.

What We're Looking For Required:

Minimum of 2 years of floral, gardening, agricultural, or related hands-on experience. Ability to work independently and support daily floral production tasks with minimal supervision. Experience with flower harvesting, conditioning, preparation, and floral care practices. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards consistently. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in outdoor and studio environments, including heat, humidity, and extended standing periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Passion for sustainable agriculture, floral production, and regenerative practices aligned with the 4Roots mission.

Preferred:

Previous event floral, production floral, or installation experience. Experience assisting with floral arrangements, bouquet preparation, or event setup. Experience mentoring or training team members, volunteers, or interns. Familiarity with sustainable farming or flower-growing systems. Experience supporting workshops, tours, or public-facing campus events. What You'll Do Assist with planting, cultivating, harvesting, conditioning, and preparing farm-grown flowers. Support floral design preparation, bouquet assembly, event prep, and floral installations. Help maintain clean, organized, and efficient floral studio and growing spaces. Monitor flower quality and report pest, damage, or plant health concerns. Assist with setup, cleanup, and preparation for events, workshops, and floral experiences. Support inventory organization, sanitation procedures, and daily operational workflow. Train and guide junior associates on flower handling, sanitation, and studio procedures.
