Floral Designer

Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral arrangements, horticulture, and customer service, with the ability to create beautiful designs for various occasions. The Floral Designer will play a key role in enhancing our store's visual appeal and providing exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Design and create floral arrangements for sympathy, events, holidays, and everyday customer needs, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, offering expert advice on floral care and design options. Handle POS transactions, including sales, cash handling, and merchandising activities. Manage inventory levels of flowers, plants, and supplies through stock replenishment and merchandising strategies. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally. Support with cooler and processing, maintenance tasks as needed, including general plant care. Utilize e-commerce platforms for online orders and coordinate with customers via multilingual communication if applicable. Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained within the store environment. Experience Previous experience in floral design or related fields such as sympathy floral and events, etc. Knowledge of retail sales processes including POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and merchandising is advantageous. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online order fulfillment is a plus. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a bonus for serving diverse customers. Experience in customer service roles within retail environments demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently and maintain an appealing store layout. Basic knowledge of floral design techniques combined with an eye for aesthetics is essential for creating compelling arrangements.
