FLORAL SHOP ASSITANT

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized FLORAL Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support daily store office operations, assist customers, assist floral designers and assist with delivery needs, This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in floral design, and who possess strong communication and organizational skills. Multilingual abilities and experience with POS systems are a plus. The Shop Assistant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth store operations. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls, speak with customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding products such as plants and floral arrangements. Assist with stocking shelves, keeping the shop tidy and well maintained, designer stations stocked and organizing and consolidating buckets of flowers in the cooler. Support e-commerce operations by processing incoming online orders, assisting with sales transactions, including processing credit card payments accurately, routing deliveries, typing cards and any monitoring websites and email. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor and orchestration area. Communicate effectively with team members and customers in English; multilingual skills are advantageous. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred Knowledge of horticulture or floral design is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers Organizational skills to manage stock levels and merchandising displays efficiently Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions Multilingual abilities are desirable but not required Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment with excellent organizational skills Prior experience in e-commerce or floral design is advantageous This position offers an engaging work environment where you can grow and develop into other extensive roles, such as floral design and sales.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
