Job Description
Florist Assistant We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Florist Assistant in Atlanta. As a florist assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with floral design, arranging flowers, and helping to maintain inventory and supplies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about flowers and has a keen eye for design.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, parties, and special events
- Cut, clean, and arrange flowers according to specific designs or instructions
- Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with ordering when needed
- Assist with organizing and setting up displays in the shop
- Provide excellent customer service by helping customers select appropriate flowers for their needs
- Keep work area clean and tidy at all times
Requirements:
- A passion for flowers and floral design
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of flower care techniques
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
