Experienced Floral Designer Yellow House Floral | Ketchum, Idaho Yellow House Floral is a design-focused floral studio in Ketchum, Idaho seeking an experienced floral designer to join our team. We are not a production shop — every arrangement we create is custom designed. Our work emphasizes creativity, thoughtful design, and creating pieces that feel personal and unique. This role is ideal for a designer who wants the opportunity to create, not simply replicate. Located in the heart of Sun Valley, this position also offers something increasingly rare: the ability to build a creative career while living the mountain lifestyle. World-class skiing, hiking, biking, rivers, and outdoor recreation are all minutes away, creating an exceptional quality of life outside the shop. Responsibilities Daily floral design for retail orders and events Processing and care of fresh flowers and inventory Assisting customers in-store and over the phone Maintaining a clean and organized design space Supporting deliveries, shop operations, and seasonal production as needed Thriving during holidays and peak floral periods Qualifications Previous professional floral design experience required Strong knowledge of flowers, mechanics, and design principles Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs Availability during holidays and busy floral seasons required Compensation & Perks Compensation DOE (Dependent on Experience) Medical insurance offered Housing assistance available for qualified candidates To apply, please send a resume, references, and portfolio/photos of your work (if available) to: flowers@yellowhousefloral.com Yellow House Floral |
