Floral Studio Associate Fleurish Chicago Chicago, IL Job Details Part-time $16.50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee discount Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Guest relations Mopping Stocking Floral design Load & unload Full Job Description About Fleurish Fleurish Chicago is a floral design firm and retail studio in Bronzeville. We serve weddings, corporate clients, hotels, restaurants, and walk-in customers. Every arrangement, every installation, every guest interaction reflects the brand we are building. The Role We are hiring two Floral Studio Associates. This is a fast-paced, physical, hands-on role in an active studio and storefront. You will be on your feet for long stretches, working with your hands, moving between tasks, and helping us deliver work at a high standard. What the Day Looks Like You are processing flowers, prepping arrangements, helping clients, restocking the cooler, breaking down boxes, sweeping the floor, loading the van, setting up an event, returning to reset the studio, and starting again tomorrow. The pace is real. The standard is high. The work is satisfying for the right person. You Will Thrive Here If You Have a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency. You move with intention and do not need to be told twice. Are comfortable on your feet for eight to ten hours, lifting buckets of water, climbing ladders, and carrying installations in and out of vehicles. Are quick and capable with your hands. You pick up technique fast and your work is clean. Have experience in environments that demand stamina and pace, such as restaurants, hospitality, retail floor work, catering, event production, salons, or other floral studios. Take pride in a clean, organized space. You see the smudge, the wilted petal, the trash on the floor, and you handle it. Are punctual. Call time means you are ready to work, not walking in the door. Communicate clearly and carry yourself with warmth and professionalism in front of clients. Are curious about floral design and serious about getting better at the craft. What You Will Do Process and condition flowers and maintain inventory standards Assist with arrangement production for retail, weddings, and corporate events Serve walk-in clients with warmth and confidence Set up and break down on-site events and installations Keep the studio, storefront, restrooms, and cooler clean, stocked, and reset throughout the day Sweep, mop, wipe down surfaces, take out trash, and close the space properly each night Maintain daily cooler care, including emptying the condensation bucket and checking the hose Support workshops, flower bars, and pop-up activations Requirements Availability for weekends, early mornings, and late evenings during event weeks Reliable transportation Able to stand for long hours, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in and around a refrigerated cooler Prior experience in floral, hospitality, events, or other fast-paced hands-on work strongly preferred
