Floral Designer

About us: Ashland Addison Florist is seeking a highly-skilled Sympathy Floral Designer to join out team at our Lofendo Flowers location. This role is ideal for an experienced designer who excels in funeral/sympathy work and understands the importance of creating meaningful, thoughtful designs during life's most sensitive moments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and create high-quality sympathy/funeral arrangements including easel sprays, casket sprays,hearts, crosses, and custom sympathy shapes Create standing sprays and other memorial pieces Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional design standards and attention to detail Learn and understand our pricing, product catalog and procedures Collaborate with team members to fulfill daily orders and special requests Maintain a clean, organized, and professional design workspace Interact courteously and compassionately with customers and staff Other duties as required to assist with daily operations

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of professional sympathy/funeral floral design experience Proven competency in creating a wide range of sympathy arrangements (easels, sprays, hearts, and custom designs) Outgoing, friendly, and team-oriented personality Ability to work weekends as required Willingness to work additional days and hours when needed, especially during busy periods Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
