Floral Designer / Professional Florist

Gardens of Arcadia is a specialty flower farm in Indiana focused on premium garden roses, heirloom-style roses, and luxury floral varieties inspired by English garden roses. We are seeking an experienced Floral Designer or Florist to join our team and create high-end bouquets and floral arrangements using fresh, farm-grown flowers. This position is best suited for candidates with professional floral design experience, including work in flower shops, wedding floristry, event florals, or floral studios. Responsibilities Design and create premium bouquets and floral arrangements Work with specialty garden roses and seasonal flowers Process, hydrate, condition, and prepare flowers for design work Maintain high standards of floral quality and presentation Assist with order fulfillment and floral production Organize floral inventory and maintain a clean design workspace Collaborate on bouquet collections, seasonal offerings, and custom floral orders Required Qualifications Previous professional experience as a florist, floral designer, wedding florist, or event florist Strong bouquet-making and floral design skills Knowledge of flower processing, conditioning, and handling techniques Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards Preferred Qualifications Experience with wedding florals and event work Experience working with garden roses or specialty flowers Floral design certification or formal floral training Pay $20-30 per hour, depending on experience.
