Responsibilities Create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday gifts, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Assist customers in selecting flowers and plants, providing expert advice on floral care, seasonal options, and complementary products. Maintain fresh inventory by stocking flowers, plants, and floral supplies; monitor stock levels and organize displays to attract customers. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, processing orders efficiently, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Support store merchandising efforts by arranging flowers attractively and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the floral department. Collaborate with team members on landscape maintenance or gardening projects as needed to enhance store surroundings. Requirements Passion for floral design, gardening, horticulture, or related fields; previous experience in floral arrangement is a plus. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a nice-to-have to serve diverse customers effectively. Knowledge of retail operations including POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and stock management. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory control. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while providing friendly customer service. Basic understanding of lawn care and landscape maintenance is advantageous but not required.
