Floral Design & Sales Associate Location:
25Thompson St, Winchester, MA Responsibilities:
- Create daily floral and planted arrangements for delivery and sales floor products like bouquets and arrangements.
- Assist customers with product selections.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting clients with warmth and professionalism in store and over the phone.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to understand and fulfill customer needs and preferences.
- Drive sales by providing expert advice on floral, plant and home decor selections and suggesting suitable arrangements for various occasions.
- Demonstrate creativity in assisting customers with custom floral designs tailored to their individual tastes and preferences.
- Maintain a polished and inviting retail environment, including arranging flower displays, plant care, store merchandising and ensuring cleanliness of shop and studio design space.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system in person and over the phone.
- Handle phone calls and email inquiries promptly and courteously.
Requirements:
- Professional Floral Design experience, minimum 3 years
- Proven experience in customer services sales with a strong emphasis on retail sales.
- Ability to effectively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Sales-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving revenue.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Available to work regular full time 5 day per week schedule, including Saturday rotations and major holidays.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a team player.
