Position Overview:

The Floral Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality, aesthetically refined floral arrangements across a range of styles and occasions. The right candidate will have hands-on experience working in a professional floral environment and demonstrate expertise in wedding, sympathy, and everyday floral design.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and produce floral arrangements for weddings, funerals, sympathy, events, and daily retail orders Assist walk-in and phone customers with knowledgeable, friendly service Maintain flower quality and shop presentation (hydration, rotation, cleaning, restocking) Accurately fill orders and meet production timelines Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak seasons and holidays Prepare flowers and materials for delivery or event setup Uphold company standards for design quality, customer satisfaction, and professionalism

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of professional floral design experience (required) Proficiency in wedding, funeral, and sympathy floral work Strong knowledge of flower care, color theory, and design mechanics Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Schedule & Compensation:

Hourly position; part-time to full-time availability Flexible scheduling with additional hours during holidays and peak floral seasons Competitive hourly pay based on experience
