We create florals for everyday moments, weddings, and events, and we're seeking a talented Floral Designer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a designer who is confident in their craft, thrives in a collaborative studio environment, and takes pride in thoughtful, elevated floral work. Responsibilities Design and execute daily arrangements, bouquets, and custom orders to The Petal's aesthetic and quality standards Create florals for weddings and events, including installation and breakdown as needed Process and care for flowers and plants to ensure optimal freshness and longevity Assist with recipe execution, stem counts, and efficient use of product Maintain a clean, organized, and well-styled design space Provide warm, professional customer service when interacting with clients in-store or by phone Support the team during holidays and high-volume periods (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.) Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional floral design experience (retail, event, or wedding design) Strong design skills with a natural, refined, and modern aesthetic Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Comfortable following recipes while also contributing creative input Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive team attitude Ability to lift 30-40 lbs and stand for extended periods Weekend and holiday availability required What We Offer A creative, supportive, and collaborative work environment Opportunities to work on weddings and special events Competitive hourly pay based on experience Growth opportunities as The Petal continues to expand Employee discounts How to Apply Please email your portfolio or photos of your work to
