Overview Join our vibrant floral team as a Floral Designer Assistant and unleash your creativity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment! Duties Assist floral designers with creating arrangements for various occasions, ensuring designs meet quality standards and customer specifications Support the preparation of floral materials by cutting, conditioning, and organizing flowers and greenery Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including storage areas for flowers, tools, and supplies Stock shelves with fresh flowers, inventory, vases, and other retail merchandise to ensure a visually appealing display Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels, labeling products accurately, cleaning, organizing and assisting with restocking efforts Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about floral options, wedding set-ups, and floral specifications Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations to ensure accurate sales processing Experience Previous experience or interest in floral design, event planning, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided Basic knowledge of plant identification and care techniques is advantageous Strong communication skills in English are essential; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers Familiarity with retail sales processes such as cashiering, merchandising, stocking, and POS systems, and floral design will help you succeed in this role Organizational skills are key to managing inventory efficiently and maintaining an inviting store environment A positive attitude combined with excellent customer service skills will enable you to thrive in a team-oriented setting This paid opportunity invites passionate individuals eager to grow their floral design expertise while delivering exceptional experiences.
