In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring that our store is well-stocked and visually appealing. A passion for gardening and floral design is a plus, as you will be working with a variety of plants and flowers. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products that meet their needs. Operate the POS system and cash register efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves and arranging displays. Assist in floral design tasks, including creating arrangements and caring for plants. Provide knowledgeable advice on garden care, landscape maintenance, and product usage. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive shopping experience. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members. Experience in retail sales, particularly in a garden or floral setting, is preferred. Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Basic understanding of retail math to assist in inventory management and stock control. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices to provide expert advice to customers.
