The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a strong understanding of horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance. This role involves creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions while providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. The Floral Designer will also assist with merchandising and maintaining the overall aesthetic of the store. Responsibilities Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions. Provide knowledgeable advice to customers regarding floral selections and care. Assist in maintaining inventory levels of flowers, plants, and supplies. Utilize POS systems for processing sales transactions efficiently. Engage in retail sales activities, including stocking shelves and merchandising products. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and display sections. Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experience through excellent service. Requirements Proven minimum 3 year experience in floral design or related fields such as horticulture or gardening. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers. Familiarity with retail math concepts to manage inventory and sales accurately. Experience in cashiering and cash handling is preferred. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of e-commerce practices is a plus for online sales support. Multilingual abilities are an asset to cater to diverse customer needs.
