Duties Design and create a wide variety of floral arrangements for retail sales, events, and special occasions, ensuring each piece meets high-quality standards. Assist customers in selecting flowers and plants, providing expert advice on floral care, design options, and seasonal trends. Manage inventory by stocking fresh flowers, greenery, floral supplies, and merchandising displays to ensure an appealing presentation. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, handle cash and credit payments with professionalism. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral department, including proper handling of flowers to extend freshness and longevity. Collaborate with team members to plan seasonal displays, promotional setups, and special event decorations. Use effective communication skills to engage with diverse customers, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service in multiple languages if applicable. Qualifications Proven experience in floral design is required. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of floral care techniques. Excellent communication skills Familiarity with retail operations including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and retail math for accurate inventory management. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift floral supplies safely. Passion for creativity combined with a customer-focused attitude that ensures positive shopping experiences.
