Floral Designer/Customer Service 201 East Bay Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ 08050 From $22 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $22 an hour - Part-time, Full-time We are seeking an experienced Floral Designer who is passionate about creating beautiful floral arrangements while delivering exceptional customer service. We are more than a flower shop—we are a destination. As part of our village of specialty shops, you'll help create memorable experiences for our customers, whether they're celebrating life's happiest moments or honoring loved ones. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in their work, and understands that every arrangement tells a story. Position Details Starting at $22.00 per hour (based on experience) 4-5 days per week Year-round position Saturday availability required What You'll Do Design beautiful, high-quality everyday floral arrangements, sympathy pieces, seasonal designs, and custom orders. Provide compassionate, personalized service to customers selecting flowers for celebrations, funerals, holidays, and special occasions. Build lasting relationships by greeting customers warmly, listening carefully to their needs, and helping them choose the perfect flowers and gifts. Process, condition, and care for fresh flowers to maintain the highest quality. Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace. Work collaboratively with our team to create an exceptional shopping experience throughout our village of shops. What We're Looking For Several years of professional floral design experience is required. Strong experience in everyday retail floral design and funeral/sympathy work. A warm, friendly personality with a genuine passion for customer service. Someone who is reliable, dependable, and takes pride in their work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while thriving as part of a creative team. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift buckets of flowers and floral supplies.
