- Full-time We are looking for a professional Lead Floral Designer to join our team.
The lead floral designer's main role is to curate beautiful flower arrangements according to company specifications and to also use their artistic talents to create inspiring new floral designs. The specific duties of a lead floral designer include creating flower arrangements, ensuring all florals are fresh, ensuring other florists curate arrangements according to company specifications, training florists, taking orders over the phone and in person, processing payments, processing flowers, cleaning the work area, and receiving and organizing store inventory. You should be ready to work with other team members, maintain superior customer service, and bring a positive hard-working attitude. Responsibilities Create flower arrangements based on specific floral recipes Train florists Ensure high quality of team's arrangements Curate new, modern floral arrangements Recommend flower arrangements according to a customer's requests and budget Take phone and in-person orders Process payments Process flowers Clean the work area and maintain an overall clean environment Receive shipments of inventory Organize inventory and flowers according to guidelines Maintain a daily inventory count Design flower displays Ensure high quality of flowers and service Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of professional floral design experience required Strong artistic ability and eye for floral composition and color design Leadership experience or experience training team members preferred Excellent time management and multitasking skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment Outstanding communication and customer service skills Ability to lift heavy boxes, buckets, and floral inventory Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the shift Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic Compensation $18
