Dehn's Flowers was established in 1892 by Christian Dehn and has been passed down through the generations. The flower shop is currently owned and operated by the fifth and sixth generation. Summary We are seeking a talented Floral Designer to join our team at Dehn's Flowers in the United States. Under the supervision and direction of the head floral designer, you will create beautiful floral arrangements that delight our customers and enhance their special occasions. Your creativity and passion for flowers will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. Must have experience with weddings with ability to meet with brides, provide a quote, bring their dream to reality and to set-up/take-down of all wedding flowers etc. This is a small flower /gift shop that will require you to assist customers with their floral needs as well as help them while browsing and ultimately cashing out on our POS system. Responsibilities Design and create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, events, and everyday celebrations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available. Collaborate with team members to fulfill large orders and special requests efficiently. Stay updated on floral design trends to bring innovative ideas to our arrangements Answer telephone Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers (on the phone or in person) with floral selections and offering expert advice and taking orders. Cash out customers and input orders using the DovePOS Requirements Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members. Basic knowledge of retail math for pricing and inventory management is a plus.
