Responsibilities:
Design fresh floral arrangements for everyday occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, weddings, events, and corporate accounts. Create sympathy and funeral arrangements, including standing sprays, casket sprays, wreaths, urn pieces, baskets, and custom tribute designs. Consult with customers to understand their floral needs and provide design recommendations. Process, condition, and care for fresh flowers and greenery. Maintain floral inventory and ensure quality standards are met. Assist with shop merchandising, cooler displays, and daily shop operations. Prepare arrangements accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines. Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of professional floral design experience preferred. Strong experience designing funeral and sympathy arrangements is required. Knowledge of flower varieties, floral mechanics, and proper flower care. Ability to create both traditional and contemporary floral designs. Strong attention to detail and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and professional.Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a retail flower shop. Event and wedding design experience. Familiarity with floral point-of-sale systems and order management.What We're Looking For:
