Job Description
About the role Tuckahoe Florist is a beloved neighborhood flower shop looking for a dependable, people-friendly assistant to join our weekend team. This is a hands-on role — you'll be customer-facing, helping keep the shop running, and pitching in wherever needed. Responsibilities Greet walk-in customers and provide friendly, helpful service Answer phones and assist with order intake Process and condition fresh flowers Organize cooler and work areas Clean, and maintain shop appearance Make local and regional deliveries (if you drive) Requirements Reliable and punctual Comfortable talking to customers in person and by phone Willing to perform all tasks including cleaning and physical work Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Preferred Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Customer service or retail experience Interest in flowers or floral design Benefits Positive, creative work environment Consistent weekend schedule Mileage reimbursement for deliveries
