Duties Lead the floral design team in creating innovative, beautiful arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. Manage daily floral department operations, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and maintaining an organized workspace. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their floral needs, offering expert advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Oversee inventory management, including ordering flowers and supplies, tracking stock levels, and coordinating deliveries to maintain fresh and vibrant product offerings. Train and mentor team members in floral techniques, safety procedures, and customer service best practices to foster a collaborative and skilled team environment. Implement effective merchandising strategies to showcase floral arrangements attractively and increase sales opportunities. Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and retail math accuracy while maintaining efficient checkout processes. Qualifications Proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill. Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and floral design principles. Excellent communication skills in English. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy retail setting. Familiarity with retail sales processes including POS systems, cashiering, stocking, merchandising, and retail math. Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm for floral artistry and customer service excellence. Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms related to retail flower sales is desirable.
