The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and a keen eye for aesthetics, with the ability to create beautiful arrangements that meet customer needs. This role involves not only crafting floral designs but also providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the overall presentation of the shop. Responsibilities Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and offering recommendations based on their needs. Manage inventory by stocking flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality of products. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including merchandising displays to enhance visual appeal. Assist with e-commerce operations, including online order processing and fulfillment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery. Engage in landscape maintenance and lawn care tasks as needed to support overall business operations. Qualifications Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual skills are a plus. Familiarity with retail sales practices, including retail math and merchandising techniques. Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in both design work and shop management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Flexibility to work varied hours as needed, including weekends or holidays during peak seasons.
