Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Floral Designer and Sales Associate, where creativity blossoms and customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do! In this role, you will craft stunning floral arrangements that inspire and delight, while also providing exceptional service to our customers. Your passion for flowers, creativity for design, gardening, and horticulture will shine through as you assist clients with their floral needs, manage sales transactions, and ensure our displays are beautifully merchandised. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine artistic talent with retail expertise in a lively, supportive environment. This is a very fun work environment but can also be very fast paced and may not be suitable for someone with limited mobility. To join our dynamic team, we require a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn flower design, sales and the daily operations in a fast-paced flower shop environment. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to stand for extended periods and demonstrate a pleasant attitude when working with others. We will train a highly motivated candidate and while experience is desirable, it is not a requirement. Our days of operation are Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays will be required. This is a part-time to full-time position and a flexible schedule can be discussed. This not only a floral design position as sales and other shop duties will be required.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Duties Design and create fresh floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related products by understanding their preferences and offering expert recommendations Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Maintain attractive product displays through stocking, merchandising, and organizing floral inventory to maximize visual appeal Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering floral advice, and fostering a welcoming shopping experience Manage inventory levels of flowers, plants, and supplies to ensure availability and freshness Skills Strong floral design skills with an eye for aesthetics and detail Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers Experience with retail sales environments, cashiering, POS systems, and cash handling procedures Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and daily workflow efficiently Customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with clients of all backgrounds Familiarity with retail math concepts such as pricing, discounts, and profit margins Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence in completing tasks We are Oklahoma's oldest and most prestigious flower shop, proudly serving our community for 4 generations, since 1927.
