Part-Time Shop Assistant (Garden & Floral)

Job Summary:

Do you love plants, flowers, and helping people bring their spaces to life? We're looking for a friendly and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll help create a welcoming, inspiring shop experience while supporting daily operations. If you enjoy working with customers, staying organized, and sharing your passion for gardening or floral design, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do:

Welcome customers and help them find the perfect plants, flowers, or supplies Keep the shop looking fresh, organized, and visually appealing Operate the POS system to handle purchases smoothly and accurately Share helpful advice on plant care, landscaping basics, and floral arrangements Assist with inventory, restocking, and keeping track of products Answer questions and resolve concerns to ensure a great customer experience Work alongside the team to meet sales goals and keep the shop running smoothly

What We're Looking For:

Experience in retail or customer service preferred Comfort using POS systems and handling basic retail math Interest or knowledge in gardening, landscaping, or floral design is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Friendly, approachable personality with a willingness to help others Multilingual skills are a bonus and help us better serve our community
