Hat Shaper - Full Time / Part Time

Hat Shaper / Custom Hat Specialist Hatwrks is a well-established Nashville hat store that has been serving locals, tourists, musicians, creatives, and hat lovers from all walks of life for the past 15 years. We specialize in custom shaping, quality craftsmanship, and creating a memorable in-store experience for every customer who walks through the door. We're looking for a dependable, creative, and hands-on Hat Shaper to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an eye for style and detail, and takes pride in craftsmanship. Previous hat shaping experience is preferred. What You'll Do Shape and customize hats for customers using steam and traditional shaping techniques Help customers choose styles, fits, bands, feathers, and custom details Maintain and organize shaping tools, materials, and work areas Assist with retail sales and customer service on the floor Work one-on-one with a wide variety of customers and personalities Support daily shop operations and help create a welcoming atmosphere Assist with inventory, merchandising, and special projects What We're Looking For Friendly, personable, and comfortable working with the public Strong attention to detail and good hand skills Creative eye for style, fashion, or design Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented Comfortable learning hands-on craftsmanship techniques Retail, barbering, styling, art, fashion, leatherwork, or other creative experience is a plus Weekend availability preferred What Makes This Job Different No two days are the same.
