Responsibilities Supervise, schedule, and train retail shop employees Manage retail and floral inventory, and place flower and supply orders Maintain visual merchandising standards for floral displays Develop and implement sales strategies and marketing promotions Handle financial operations, including payroll, POS reconciliation, and budgeting Foster positive customer relationships and address concerns promptly Collaborate with floral designers on product offerings and trends Organize logistics for floral deliveries and event setups Requirements and Skills Proven experience in flower shop jobs, retail management, or floral sales jobs Strong leadership and staff management skills Customer service excellence with strong problem-solving abilities Knowledge of floral design, flower care, and industry trends Budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management experience Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Strong communication and organizational skills Managers may be expected to fill the Sales Floor position during their shifts. Floral design is not a part of the job, however there may be a need to fill in on high traffic holidays so a floral background is strongly favored, but not required. You must be willing to take direction, lead and learn.
