This role focuses primarily on culinary artistry, food styling, and kitchen preparation. You will work in our Redmond prep kitchen to craft visually stunning, high-end charcuterie boards, grazing tables, and custom sandwiches. While the primary focus is on kitchen production and design, occasional assistance with event delivery and setup may be required during peak times.
Key Responsibilities Charcuterie & Prep:
Work at our Redmond kitchen to wash, slice, and prep gourmet cheeses, cured meats, fruits, nuts, and garnishes. Help design and assemble beautiful charcuterie boards and grazing tables according to company presentation standards.
Event Venue Setup:
Load catering vehicles with food, platters, and design equipment. Travel from Redmond to various event sites in the Seattle region to set up grazing tables, linens, floral accents, and food labels.
Breakdown & Cleanup:
Safely pack up remaining food, wash reusable boards, dismantle event decor, and reload/unload the catering vehicle. Requirements & Qualifications Must possess a valid Washington State Food Worker Card or obtain one within 14 days of hire. Sharp attention to detail with an eye for food presentation, styling, and aesthetics. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for active shifts lasting 4 to 8 hours. Ability to safely lift and carry catering crates or equipment weighing up to 35 lbs. Reliable transportation to our Redmond kitchen and flexibility to travel to event venues in Seattle and surrounding areas.
Compensation & Schedule Hourly Wage:
$21.50 to $24.50 per hour.
Schedule:
On-demand, event-driven hours with weekends & holidays required.
