Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floral Shop Designer and Associate to join our team in a dynamic and fast paced floral shop. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing flower arrangements, working in the floral industry and have knowledge of floral processing procedures. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hands-on work, excellent phone skills, ability to learn computer skills quickly and has a strong customer service background. Duties Greeting in person customers and assisting with floral and gift selections Designing and creating beautiful arrangements Processing Floral as it comes in Greeting customers over the phone and taking phone orders Input orders accurately into the computer system Collaborate with team members regarding orders and delivery times. Making occasional deliveries light house keeping including dusting, sweeping, cleaning and washing buckets Display and organize inventory in a stylish and contemporary mannor Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills related to manufacturing processes. Qualifications Excellent phone skills Excellent customer service skills Basic computer skills. Dependable Have worked in the floral industry in some fashion and have the basic knowledge on creating arrangements Basic knowledge on processing flowers Good Driving Record Working longer hours during peak times including Holidays and big events Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
