Job Description
Manager, Graphic Design - Rocket City Trash Pandas The Rocket City Trash Pandas are the Double-A Affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels and are looking to build on a successful reputation of delivering an unrivaled fan experience from state-of-the-art Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama! The club is in search of an enthusiastic and energetic Graphic Design Manager to join our team! The club's Graphic Design Manager will work independently and as part of a team to enhance the Trash Pandas brand. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position that reports to the Director of Production & Creative. The successful applicant is subject to receive several benefits including Paid Time Off (PTO) and Health Insurance to which BallCorps, LLC will pay a portion of, including Dental & Vision.
Responsibilities Include:
Produce and/or oversee the production of External Advertising materials (Print, Outdoor, Digital and TV) Content for club's social media channels and stadium videoboards Stadium signage (large format to flyers) Product Shots for club's online retail store, giveaway items, etc. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and social media teams to create promotional materials Work the team's 69 Home Games and select non-baseball Special Events on the Trash Pandas Production Crew Gameday Responsibilities include: Operating graphics systems for videoboards or game broadcast Oversee the preparation of Control Room graphic systems for Gameday Production Lead and manage Design Interns Non-departmental responsibilities include assisting full staff with covering and uncovering the field in response to inclement conditions (tarp pulls) Other Duties as assigned Job Requirements Demonstrated experience with industry standard graphic design platforms, preferably Adobe Creative Suite's Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Experience creating print-ready materials Some Experience in Live Production Atmosphere Preferred Passion for Sports & Entertainment Attention to Detail Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work on short notice Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Excellent Interpersonal Skills - Must work and communicate well with others at all levels of organization Proven ability to take initiative We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Similar jobs in Madison, AL
