This is a high-volume, fast-paced, in-office role where we produce two different 150+ page magazines each month. If you thrive in a demanding print production environment and love seeing your work on newsstands and coffee tables across the state, this is your opportunity.

Publications You'll Work On:

AY About You - Arkansas' flagship lifestyle monthly Arkansas Money & Politics - The state's leading business and political publication Annuals & Special Editions, including the high-impact Arkansas Mental Health Guide Magazine What You Bring (Non-Negotiable Requirements): Minimum 5 years of professional magazine or newspaper PRINT design experience (digital-only experience does not qualify) Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite — especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Strong portfolio showcasing editorial layouts, advertising creative, and multi-page print publications Expert-level understanding of typography, grid systems, print production, and press-ready files Proven ability to manage very high page counts and tight deadlines while maintaining high quality Comfortable in a fast-paced newsroom environment during heavy production weeks Reliable Mac user who can troubleshoot efficiently Collaborative mindset with the ability to accept and implement art director feedback quickly
