Production Artist/Graphic Designer

Overview Creative Brands is an owned subsidiary of CBC Group with a portfolio of thirteen highly recognizable gift and inspirational brands. We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Artist for Santa Barbara Design Studio to join our dynamic team of creative minds who are redefining the gift industry with distinctive home décor, drinkware, stationery, and jewelry products. Position Overview We are looking for someone who is equally passionate about products as they are about the design. Our ideal candidate is someone with an interest in gifts and home décor that embodies the minimalist designs adapted to the European way of living with soft colors, textures, and accents. This role requires highly proficient Adobe Illustrator skills, an eye for detail and solid design principles. Ability to work efficiently in a deadline driven environment, is highly organized and frequently strives for detailed, polished and complete results. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working solo "in the zone" as well as in a brainstorming group or creative session. People who are a good fit for us are ego-free with a strong work ethic and a cheerful outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Production:

Create and design production-ready files for gift products.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all production standards are met and maintained.

Resource Management:

Maintain image, font, and resource files.

Required Skills and Traits:

Adobe Creative Suite Expertise:

Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator in a Mac environment.

Typography Knowledge:

Strong understanding of typography principles.

Team Collaboration:

Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Project Management:

Capable of managing multiple and varied projects simultaneously.

Fundamentals:

Knowledge of color, composition, and the elements of art and design.

Education and Experience:

Degree:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field; or

Experience:

Three to five years of relevant experience; or

Combination:
