Job Description

Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and be proficient in various design software. This role involves creating visually appealing graphics that effectively communicate our brand message and engage our target audience. If you have a passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics, we would love to see your portfolio. Qualifications Authorized to work in the United States High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years experience working as a graphic designer in a fast-paced, team oriented environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Experienced in typography with Adobe fonts Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required. Applicants whose experience is primarily with Canva or comparable beginner-level design tools do not meet the qualification criteria. Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates a range of brand and marketing design (including video, animation, packaging, print and digital across channels) Excellent communication and presentation skills Hyper-organized with time management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment, detail oriented, an excellent communicator and the ability to work well in a remote team environment A 'no task is too small' attitude willing to jump in as needed to support the team with day-to-day creative You're motivated to build a brand that inspires families to create special memories Strong interest in how design affects user experience Creative, resourceful, and willing to bring new ideas to the table Balance openness and warmth with a sense of urgency and thrive in a fast paced environment Collaborative approach to your work and people enjoy working with you because you find opportunities to win together Efficient and focused on getting things done well and on schedule Responsibilities The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of their tools and be skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable Collaborating with multiple teams including Social Media, eCommerce, Retention, Paid Marketing, Merchandising and Product Development, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project Work on a wide range of projects and media, using the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to visualize and develop innovative brand design that meets business goals, including digital design for email, website, social media, video, animation, and print collateral like structural packaging, hang tags, inserts and more Work closely with the Marketing team to create consistent, joyful, and strategic brand assets Evolve our brand identity with the development and maintenance of a brand style guide Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately Provide high-level mockups for creative review Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the marketing team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects Clearly communicate ideas through various levels of the creative process: content strategy, brainstorming, wireframing, all the way through to final deliverables Ensure deliverables meet brand standards and follow creative briefs Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions to improve design capabilities Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video Proactively stay up-to-date with digital and social media trends Jump in as needed to support the team with day-to-day creative requests Schedule Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Day Shift) Occasional weekends for company events and trade shows Travel required (approximately 25%, including occasional overnight trips) Work Location Requirement This is an in-person position in Brea, CA . Applicants must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting employment.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
