Position Summary:

The Graphic Designer will help bring the CAKE brand to life across all platforms through bold, innovative visuals. This position is responsible for producing high-quality static and animated content for social, packaging, merchandise, web, and events. The ideal candidate is highly creative, skilled in both graphic design and motion/animation, and thrives in a fast-paced, experimental environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design high-volume, high-quality digital and print assets including social graphics, packaging, merchandise, web visuals, and animations. Create motion graphics, animated content, and digital art that align with CAKE's bold, culture-forward aesthetic. Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm concepts, develop storyboards, and execute innovative campaigns. Ensure brand consistency across all visual and animated assets. Prepare production-ready files for vendors, printers, packaging partners, and digital platforms. Maintain organized design, animation, and digital asset libraries for team efficiency. Stay current on design, animation, digital trends, and emerging creative tools. Support cross-functional teams by producing creative assets for marketing campaigns, events, presentations, and retail activations.

Must-Haves:

Proven experience in graphic design and motion graphics/animation. Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and other motion/animation tools. Experience creating high-quality static and animated digital content. Self-starter with excellent organization, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and experimental environment. Eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a background check. Valid California Driver's License. Nice to

Experience with lifestyle, fashion, music, or cannabis brands. AI-powered design and animation workflow experience. Photography, video, or illustration skills. Bachelor's degree or coursework in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Animation, or related field. Knowledge of California cannabis compliance for packaging, labeling, and advertising. Experience designing merchandise, apparel, or product packaging. Experience with brand storytelling, campaigns, or experiential design (pop-ups, trade shows, activations).
