About the Opportunity We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to join our in-house marketing team. This role requires a balance of creative flair and technical precision. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and production of complex marketing materials that define our presence in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can take a project from a rough concept to a press-ready file with minimal supervision, maintaining the highest standards of quality and brand integrity.
What You'll Do Design Execution:
Produce high-quality visual assets across multiple platforms, including premium product packaging, corporate collateral, trade show graphics, and B2B sales collateral.
Workflow Integration:
Keep yourself accountable and partner with our traffic and production team members to ensure all deadlines are met, and stakeholders are kept informed throughout the revision process. Use of an internal ticket/workflow software is required.
Technical Print Production:
Manage the "hands-on" technical side of design, including color correction, photo retouching, and building complex, production-ready files for a variety of printing substrates.
In-house Production:
Adept at operating studio equipment as needed; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories. Knowledge of imposition for small run in-house printing and finishing; scoring, folding, binding, and cutting.
Peer Collaboration:
Work closely with the Creative Director to refine concepts and provide technical guidance or mentorship to mid-level or junior designers when necessary.
Appetite Appeal & Color Theory:
Ability to use visual cues—such as color psychology and textural imagery—to effectively communicate specific flavor profiles to properly represent our brand.
CPG & Packaging Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of consumer packaged goods (CPG) design, including a firm grasp of how typography and layout behave on physical containers (bottles, pumps, and boxes).
Project & Workload Management:
Demonstrated ability to strategically prioritize and manage a high volume (and sometimes complex), concurrent projects from concept to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards and deadlines.
Communication & Relationship Management:
Highly adaptable in navigating various communication styles and feedback types, with the ability to distill stakeholder input into actionable, high-impact design solutions.
Adobe Creative Cloud Mastery:
Expert-level proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Firefly, and Premiere . You should be comfortable with advanced features (e.g., Illustrator appearance panels, Photoshop masking, InDesign style sheets, prompting and using various LLM available through Adobe Creative Cloud and Copilot, Premiere multi-camera editing).
Project Management Savvy:
Demonstrated experience working within Lytho (or a similar project management tool) to track time, manage assets, and streamline the approval process.
Photography/Retouching:
High-level photo manipulation skills to make application imagery look vibrant, fresh, and artisanal.
Education & Experience:
5-8+ years of professional experience in a design role, with a strong emphasis on in-house or agency experience. Experience in the food and beverage or luxury goods sector is a plus.
Ownership & Throughput:
Demonstrates strong ownership of work, effectively prioritizing and managing a high volume of projects without compromising quality or accuracy.
Strategic Problem Solving:
Approaches challenges proactively, resolving technical and creative constraints with thoughtful, scalable solutions.
Clear Communicator:
Articulates design rationale clearly to cross-functional partners and incorporates feedback with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset. Attention to

Maintain the transition from conceptual design to final production, meticulously managing specs, bleed lines, and resolution requirements to eliminate errors and reduce revision cycles.

Maintains strict adherence to brand guidelines while ensuring excellence from concept through final production. Oversees technical execution, including specs, bleed, and resolution, to minimize errors and reduce revision cycles.
Organization Under Pressure:
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with high project volume (200+ SKUs and multiple internal stakeholders), maintaining organization, focus, and consistent creative output under tight timelines.
Regulatory Precision:
Experience working within the constraints of FDA/labeling requirements, ensuring that creative designs always accommodate necessary legal and nutritional information without sacrificing aesthetics.
Multilingual:
As an international company, Monin often translates its corporate and B2B collateral, as well as product packaging, into various languages.
Product-focused Photography:
