Job Description

Pay:
$2,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month Job description: Overview Cleopatra Ink Tattoo and Piercing in Panama is seeking a talented and creative Tattoo Designer who is proficient in using PSD and vector-based software (such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Procreate, etc.) to design custom tattoos that meet the unique preferences of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic eye, a deep understanding of tattoo styles, and the technical ability to transform ideas into detailed designs that can be used for ink on skin.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Custom Tattoos:
Create detailed, custom tattoo designs based on client specifications, providing unique, creative, and visually appealing artwork. Collaborate with
Clients:
Work directly with clients to understand their vision, style preferences, and any symbolism or themes they want in their tattoos.
Use of Software:
Utilize Photoshop (PSD) and vector-based software (Illustrator, CorelDRAW, etc.) to design tattoo templates that are scalable and easy to implement for artists.
Prepare Design Files:
Ensure all design files are properly formatted for printing or tattoo transfer, including vector and raster formats, layers, and color schemes. Stay Current with
Trends:
Keep up to date with the latest tattoo styles, trends, and techniques to offer fresh, modern designs.
Ensure Design Accuracy:
Ensure that all designs are correctly aligned with the desired placement on the body and suit the individual's anatomy, keeping in mind the technical limitations of tattooing.
Provide Design Edits:
Revise and adjust designs based on client feedback and tattoo artist input to ensure final approval and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Tattoo Designer or Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio of tattoo designs. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (PSD) and vector-based software like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling. Familiarity with tattoo styles (Traditional, Neo-Traditional, Realistic, Black & Grey, Watercolor, etc.) and the ability to adapt designs to different styles. Ability to work with both raster and vector images to ensure tattoo designs are high-quality and scalable. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and tattoo artists. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A passion for tattoo artistry and the design process.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a tattoo studio or with tattoo artists. Knowledge of anatomy and how designs will appear on different parts of the body. Ability to create 3D mockups or placement guides for tattoos. Experience with other design tools like Procreate, Affinity Designer, etc.
