The main business focus is the Scholastic market dealing with School Associations, School Conferences and local Grade and High Schools mostly in the Midwest but also distributing nationally through other vendors. A & M Products Company is a family owned business started in 1969 by my Grandfather John and my Grandmother Jeanne with humble beginnings in their basement. I became involved in the business in 2007 when I moved back to Princeton. I am very grateful that A & M Products Company has been able to remain successful, due in large part to the dedicated full and part-time employees that have worked here these many years. I consider all past and current employees friends and in some way, a part of an extended family, and hope in a greater sense, that they understand that all of us continue to impact to the successful outcome of the company.
PHILOSPHY OF OPERATIONS
As we have progressed through the years, various duties and challenges have been taken on by each of us as they become apparent and have tried to be matched to our own capabilities, interests, and talents. We must put upon ourselves the daily challenges of operations to ensure our success. It is important that employees offer suggestions to make the business more efficient, modern, time-saving and productive, and that the talents and knowledge that we possess should be shared amongst ourselves. It has been the endeavor of the company to treat employees fairly in a relaxed non-hostile environment and all employees are expected to be responsible for their work, and to help their fellow employees in all areas of the shop when needed or asked. Good communication and teamwork make us a stronger company and ensures that we will be able to depend upon it in the future to support, not only our own families, but each others families as well.
