Derby Photography, an award-winning photography studio, is looking for a Photo Editor/Graphic Designer to join their team.

Technical Responsibilities:

Basic photo retouching including blemishes, glass glare, removing objects, face transfers Execute a variety of projects for clients, including: holiday cards, albums, advertising, and flyers Provide creative strategy and concepts for advertisement campaigns and special projects Maintain the organization of all electronic files, creative briefs, and samples Retouch, edit, and design layout for various digital documents

Creative Responsibilities:

Partner with photographers on art direction and style Ensure that the overall creative remains cutting-edge and fresh Contribute to our promotion efforts via Facebook, Twitter, blogging, and other social media outlets

Clientele Responsibilities:

Ensure that clients have an exceptional experience at our studio Complete required paperwork to ensure that clients receive orders in a timely fashion Answer phone calls and help with client questions Put together client orders and prepare for pick up Ensure that the studio is warm and inviting for clients Candidate must have A portfolio that showcases design experience Proficiency in Photoshop, LightRoom, and experience with Mac computers preferred The ability to interact professionally with all company members and clients The ability to appropriately receive and act upon feedback Must be a seasoned multi-tasker who can juggle a variety of projects of varying scope Must be a self-starter who can learn protocol "on-the-job" To Apply Please send a resume and cover letter detailing how your background/skills fit this position.
