Overview We are seeking a talented and energetic Newspaper Page Designer, Paginator, and Graphic Designer to join our editorial team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling newspaper pages that engage readers and enhance the storytelling experience. Your expertise in layout design, digital art, and graphic elements will help shape the visual identity of our publication. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the look and feel of a fast-paced news environment while utilizing your creative skills across print and digital platforms. Responsibilities Design and layout newspaper pages with a focus on readability, visual appeal, and brand consistency using industry-standard tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma Develop engaging graphics, infographics, and visual elements that complement news stories, including photo manipulation and digital art Create compelling typography and typesetting that enhance content clarity and aesthetic quality Collaborate with editors and content creators to ensure timely production of pages aligned with publishing deadlines Design and create ads for clients Implement branding guidelines across all layouts to maintain a cohesive visual identity Experience Proven experience in graphic design, layout design, or production design within a publishing or media environment Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to team members and stakeholders Prior experience working with content management systems like WordPress or similar platforms is desirable Join us to craft visually stunning newspaper pages that inform and inspire!
